The population of Kyan Hmaw, situated in Daydaye township was over 1316 people. But only 332 people remained after cyclone hit Myanmar. The farmers are now hopeless with a damaged 4400-acre farm. More than 5000 buffaloes have been lost.
-“We do not know how to survive “ said a local villager.
One week after cyclone, Myanmar military government gave only 5kl rice to each person . Since, they did not receive anything from government. They have to build their shed by themselves. A villager said “we do not know for tomorrow, but we need food now”
They sadly said that some people died in the hope of aid.
